My wife Rachelle and I live in Modesto, where I was born and raised.
I spend a lot of my time building things and figuring out how things work. Professionally, that usually means some combination of business, data, systems, and operations. Outside of work, it has meant everything from computers and electronics to small businesses, side projects, and whatever else catches my interest.
I love being outside: fishing, camping, boating, skiing, hunting, and most things you can think of, from paragliding to caving to whitewater. Getting away for a weekend, to the mountains or the Delta, is a big part of why I still like calling Modesto home.
Right now, I am building Pocket Check, a personal finance app.
A sales map you can drill into, from the whole country down to a region, a state, and a single rep, with every account colored by attainment against goal. I built it on my own as a Power BI custom visual; it inherits the warehouse's row-level security, so each rep sees only their territory. It replaced a static slide deck. The demo runs on fake data.

Pipelines pull from the ERP and CRM into a lakehouse and warehouse laid out in medallion layers. From there, an AI layer queries the warehouse and sends the recurring reports out on a schedule, and 40+ Power BI reports are packaged into a single app that the company uses as its front door to all of them.

Connects bank accounts and investment accounts in one place, uses AI to categorize every transaction automatically, and shows where the money is actually going. Built on Plaid, SnapTrade, and Stripe. Built the product, the website, the billing, and the company behind it. Currently in TestFlight ahead of public launch.
Founded and operated a residential window cleaning business for a season, generating approximately $5,000 in revenue. Built the business from the ground up, including branding, flyer and business card design, website and email setup, Yelp presence, door-to-door outreach, lead follow-up, scheduling, and customer service, and also the window/screen cleaning.
In high school I took up dropshipping and ran a few Shopify stores selling specialized products sourced from suppliers in China. I built the stores and branding, handled the product photos, business setup, ordering, fulfillment, and Meta ads, and made a few sales before shutting them down. It was my first exposure to building something from scratch and putting it in front of real customers.
Wrote and optimized SQL against EHR data in SSMS and built Power BI dashboards that gave leadership visibility into client demographics and program performance.
Built and deployed a ServiceNow ticketing workflow for yard management through ACC, QA, and production, and documented a Finance Access database to guide its replacement. Presented both to Gallo IT leadership.
Audited the IT asset inventory for 300+ employees, cutting inventory and recurring rental costs by $118,548 a year. Automated service management processes, provided Tier 2 support, and led the company-wide move to Microsoft Teams Phone.
Rotated across 12+ departments at Gallo Spirits, including supply chain, QA, bottling, and warehouse logistics.
Two trips, in 2023 and 2025, to a college serving students from remote Alaskan villages, many of them working through alcoholism, drug abuse, physical abuse, and trauma. I helped with campus construction, building out a place where those students can pursue opportunities beyond what their villages can offer.
